Wawrinka deixa profundo balanço da temporada: «Agora sinto-me estranho, triste e vazio»

Stanislas Wawrinka foi eliminado por Rafa Nadal nos oitavos de final do ATP 1000 de Paris e viu cair por terra as suas hipóteses de se qualificar para Londres.

A temporada chegou ao fim e o helvético decidiu fazer um balanço. “Acabou outra temporada. Agora o sentimento é de estranheza, tristeza e vazio. Agora é tempo de refletir sobre a última época e preparar para a próxima. Foi um ano de muitos altos e baixos, mas senti-me sempre muito especial quando entrava em court, especialmente com todo o amor e carinho que recebi pelo mundo”, pode ler-se na sua conta oficial do Instagram.

“Queria agradecer especialmente à minha equipa que me ajudou muito a voltar a um nível que me motiva a continuar a trabalhar muito, todos os dias e a nunca desistir”, são algumas das palavras do número 15 mundial, numa longa e emotiva mensagem aos fãs.

End of another season 🔚… right now the feeling is strange, sad & empty 💭😔🙄✨. Now is the time to reflect on last year and rebuild for next! It was a year with many ups and downs, but it felt really special every time I stepped on court, especially with all the love and support I received around the world 🙏🏻💫💜.
