Durante esta semana está a decorrer a fase de qualificação de Wimbledon e já são vários os acontecimentos que têm marcado aqueles que estão presentes.
Esta quarta-feira foi mais um exemplo. O australiano Akira Santillan foi derrotado pelo belga Ruben Bemelmans com os parciais de 7-6(5), 3-6 e 12-10, num encontro onde chegou a dispor de dois match points quando vencia por 8-7 no set decisivo.
Ora, de acordo com o jornalista Ricky Dimon, o número 238 mundial ficou tão frustrado com a derrota que… destruiu todas as raquetes que tinha consigo.
