Mais uma baixa no quadro principal do Mutua Madrid Open, depois de conhecida a desistência do croata Marin Cilic, que se junta assim a Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga e Stan Wawrinka no lote de grandes ausências.
Cilic tem vivido dias agitados recentemente. Casou no último fim de semana, jogou em Istambul, perdeu na estreia, em dois sets, e anunciou agora a indisponibilidade para jogar o torneio que sucede ao Millennium Estoril Open.
